Winter maintenance of car washing equipment should not only be carried out according to routine maintenance, but also pay attention to anti freezing and drainage maintenance, especially for outdoor equipment in the north. For normal use, please follow the normal winter maintenance methods for equipment maintenance.

1、 Equipment drainage

Reciprocating machine

1.1 Open the water vapor cabinet to ensure that the air pressure is above 0.6MP, close the inlet valve of the main water inlet pipeline, and press the drainage button on the car washing machine screen to discharge the water vapor inside the pipeline.

After the drainage is completed, open the water vapor tray drainage valve and the main inlet pipeline valve to discharge the water in the main water pipe.

1.3 Open the drain valve at the lowest point of the wire rack pipeline, and then press the touch screen drain button to drain.

Equipped with vertical centrifugal pump equipment

2.1 Open the Y-shaped filter valve at the inlet of the water pump and drain the water in the water tank and pipes.

2.2 Use a wrench to open the drain valve at the bottom of the pump body and drain the water inside the pump body.

2.3 Open the exhaust valve on the pump body halfway to prevent negative pressure from being generated inside the pump body.

2、 Maintenance of water pump and high-pressure pump

1. Add insulation materials to the water pump to prevent it from freezing due to low temperatures.

2. Temporarily empty the unused water pump body of the medium, and operate it with added medium during use to prevent the medium inside the pump body from freezing and damaging due to non operation of the water pump.

3. Both heated and unheated basement pump rooms must have their doors and windows tightly closed. Unfinished basement pump rooms and wind tunnels must be blocked and the water pumps and equipment must be emptied of the medium.

4. The water pump is installed outdoors or in a site without HVAC. Before operation, it is recommended to check whether the water pump is frozen. If the water pump is found to be frozen, thaw it first. If you do not know how to thaw it, please contact our after-sales personnel in a timely manner for guidance before use. Do not forcefully operate it, as some parts of the water pump are prone to deformation and damage after freezing.

5. If the pump body is not severely frozen, hot water or boiled water can be poured into the pump to freeze it, or the pump casing can be heated.

6. Water pump manufacturers always come with water voltage testing before leaving the factory. There may be a small amount of residual medium in the pump body, so freezing the residual medium will not affect the water pump. After melting with water, it can be used normally.

The above are the anti freezing steps that must be performed at the end of a day of car washing or during low temperatures in the north.

3、 Precautions for low-temperature car washing

During the operation of the equipment, the anti freezing self adjustment mode should also be turned on. During the interval of car washing or brief shutdown, the anti freezing mode of the equipment should be activated. The equipment can idle the brush, shake off the water, and drain the remaining water in the pipeline to keep the brush dry and ice free, which can ensure normal car washing.
